BIO
Through multi-layered falsetto vocals recorded in abandoned castles, caves, and wild locations around the world, tribal grooves sampled from industrial and organic sounds, and distorted bass synthesizers, Yuval Gilboa delivers a nomadic musical experience that embodies the essence of global exploration and cultural connection.
He studied at Rimon School of Music with Maestro Yaron Gottfried and Josef Bardanashvili in the Composition, Arrangement, and Conducting Department, specializing in writing ethnic symphonic pieces.
After graduating and releasing his multilingual debut album 'The Cameria of Yuval Gilboa', He embarked on a journey with the mission of creating songs in some of the most untouched places throughout Europe, documenting his adventures on social media, and building a devoted following of fans.
Merging poetry and visual art, he creates his lyrics using a technique called 'Gibrew,' where he draws shapes outlined by Hebrew letters, forming sequences of Gibberish words that he later composes.
There’s an evocative and soulful expression in Gilboa’s music, shaped by his resonant mantric singing, edgy electronic production, and passion for blending traditions into a harmonious soundscape. It's both raw and refined, conveying spirituality, motion, and joy.
